“MASU” form conjugation – Mimasu, Imasu and Chimasu
Just simply drop the “Mu” and replace it with “Mimasu”. For verbs ending with “U” will be replaced by “Imasu” and “Tsu” will be replaced by “Chimasu”.
1. すむ (sumu) = すみます (su + mimasu)
2. たのむ (tanomu) = たのみます (tano + mimasu)
3. のむ (nomu) = のみます (no + mimasu)
4. やすむ (yasumu) = やすみます (yasu + mimasu)
5. よむ (yomu) = よみます (yo + mimasu)
6. あう (au) = あいます (a + imasu)
7. あらう (arau) = あらいます (ara + imasu)
8. いう (iu) = いいます (i + imasu)
9. うたう (utau) = うたいます (uta + imasu)
10. かう (kau) = かいます (ka + imasu)
11. すう (suu) = すいます (su + imasu)
12. ちがう (chigau) = ちがいます (chiga + imasu)
13. つかう (tsukau) = つかいます (tsuka + imasu)
14. ならう (narau) = ならいます (nara + imasu)
15. たつ (tatsu) = たちます (ta + chimasu)
16. まつ (matsu) = まちます (ma + chimasu)
17. もつ (motsu) = もちます (mo + chimasu)
