Dakedo
Meaning: But, however, though, still, nevertheless
When to use?
1) At the beginning of sentence
Kono kuruma ga hoshii. Dakedo takasugimasu.
= I want this car. However, it is too expensive.
2) After (adjectival) noun
Ashita wa ame dakedo dekakemasu ka.
= Will you go out though it might be rainy tomorrow?
3) After dictionary form of verb/adjective
K1 o mitai n dakedo doko de kippu o kattara ii no ka wakarimasen.
= I want to see K1, but I don't know where I can buy a ticket.
4) After ta-form of verb/adjective
MP3 o katta n dakedo tsukau no ga muzukashii desu.
= I bought an MP3 player, but it is difficult to use.
