Meaning: Same as desu, no desu, but it is commonly used in written or formal language instead of da/desu
When to use?
1) After (adjectival) noun
Rando ma-ku wa nihon no yokohama ni taterareta ta-wa de aru.
= Land mark is a tower built in yokohama Japan.
2) After dictionary form of verb/ adjective + no
Kono houhou sureba mondai wa kaiketsu sareru no de aru.
= The problem will be solved in this method.
