ミーティング (Meeting)
ジェス: 長倉さん(Nagakura-san)、明日(Ashita)、プレゼンテーション(Purezente-shon)がありますから(ga arimasukara)、ちょっと(Chotto)ミーティング(Mi-tinggu)をしたいです(wo shitai desu.)。
English: Jess: Nagakura- san, tomorrow we will have a presentation, and I would like to conduct a meeting.
長倉: そうですね(Sou desune)。しましょう(Shimashou)。何時(Nan-ji)によろしいですか(ni yoroshii desuka)。
English: Nagakura: Sure. What time do you want?
ジェス: 午後4時(Gogo yo ji)に会議室(ni kaigi-shitsu)が空いています(ga aite imasu)。長倉さんはどうですか(Nagakura san wa dou desuka)。
English: Jess: The meeting room is open at around 4:00 in the afternoon, would that be okay with you?
長倉: 私は5時(Watashi wa go ji)のほうが いいですが(no hou ga ii desuga)、どうですか(Dou desuka)。
English: Nagakura: It would be great if we schedule it at 5:00 in the afternoon, how about that?
ジェス: 大丈夫です(Daijoubu desu)。5時にしましょう(Go ji ni shimashou)。
English: Jess: It's Okay. Let's schedule it at 5:00pm.
長倉: じゃ(Ja)、よろしく(Yoroshiku)お願いします(Onegai ashimasu)。
English: Nagakura: Well, See you later.
Notes: Basically, we don't translate the Japanese sentences word by word but it depends on the situation and the topic that is being discussed. Other translations may apply. The most important is the English translation should correspond to the meaning of Hiragana, Katakana or Kanji characters used in the sentence.
